LA Events is a family-run DJ, photo booth and dance floor hire company based in Milton Keynes, proudly delivering high-quality entertainment for weddings, birthday parties, private celebrations, corporate events, conferences, brand activations and Christmas parties.
We work with couples, private party hosts and businesses of all sizes across Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas, including Northampton, Luton, Bedford, Leighton Buzzard and beyond, providing professional, reliable and well-presented entertainment tailored to your celebration or event.

I’m Leigh Ainsworth, the owner of LA Events. You’ll deal with me personally as we discuss your event and plan the entertainment. It’s my business and my reputation, so when I commit to your event, that commitment matters. I won’t set aside a confirmed booking because a bigger job comes along.
I still love smaller birthday parties and family celebrations. Being close to the guests, seeing their reactions and sharing their enjoyment is a big part of why I do this.

Picking The Right Package For You...
Ensuring the ideal package selection is crucial, which is why we’ve curated a range that caters to all budgets.
Absolutely crucial to us is our collaboration with each client regarding their music preferences. Although we highly advise relying on our experienced DJs for the majority of music selection, we wholeheartedly embrace and encourage your playlists, allowing you to update them as often as you wish.
From enquiry to your event
Start with your event date, venue and the services you’re interested in. You can reach me by phone, email or other usual channels; keeping the important details together by email or our enquiry form helps us maintain a clear written record.
We’ll discuss what you need and agree the services before directing you to the Booking Form. You can contact us with questions as your plans develop.
Before the event, we’ll talk through the practical details that apply to your plans. For a wedding that might include access, first dance, cake cutting and music; a party or corporate event will have its own priorities. A WhatsApp video call can be useful when there’s more to discuss.
With our extensive music library, we can cater to any age group and keep the dance floor lively. In addition, we boast substantial experience in handling corporate events.
Leigh’s story
From Ainsey’s Discos in 2018 to LA Events in January 2026, the business has grown around Leigh Ainsworth’s love of music and personal approach. Smaller celebrations remain just as important to him as corporate work.
We collaborate with numerous schools in the MK area, covering everything from year 3 school discos to school leavers’ proms.
Whether you’re in need of a DJ or a photo booth for your Christmas party or a work-related celebration, we offer the perfect party package!
Our Two Photobooth Options
Choose from two photobooth options for weddings, parties and corporate events in Milton Keynes, Northampton and surrounding areas.
Digital Photobooth sends photos digitally to guests’ phones and offers a lower-cost option.
Premium Printed Photobooth includes physical prints, props and supervision by an LA Events staff member, with standard hire lasting 3 hours.
Setup and packing down are included. You can book a photobooth on its own or alongside our DJ and dance floor services.
